At an early age, Chef Rael Coronado discovered his passion for the culinary arts while working at his family’s restaurant. This initial exposure inspired him to pursue a formal education at the renowned Culinary Art School in Tijuana. Building on this foundation, Rael gained invaluable experience in Los Cabos and Valle de Guadalupe restaurants. His journey then took him to San Diego, where he showcased his expertise at iconic establishments such as Juniper & Ivy, Addison, and Wormwood, and led the kitchen at downtown San Diego’s Double Standard. Today, as the Executive Chef of Savage Tijuana, Chef Rael continues to mesmerize diners with his innovative and contemporary creations.
