Chef Marcelo Hisaki, immersed in both Mexican and Japanese culinary traditions from a young age, he later honed his craft in French cuisine at the Lycée Hôtelier de Monte Carlo. By 2013, he had founded ‘Restaurante Amores‘ in Tecate, Baja California, seamlessly merging French, Mexican, and Oriental techniques and highlighting the region’s rich produce. Marcelo’s commitment to culinary excellence culminated in his participation in the Bocuse d’Or, often dubbed the “culinary Olympics,” celebrating the best in global gastronomy.
