Lara Worm is a native San Diegan and grew up in the local food and beverage industry, but chose to pursue a different path and went to law school in Washington, D.C. After graduating, Lara spent 10 years as an Assistant United States Attorney, prosecuting violent crimes and major narcotics cases in Washington, D.C. and then San Diego. By a twist of fate, Lara found herself in the craft alcohol industry, and opened Bivouac Ciderworks in the heart of North Park. Combining her love for cider, adventure, and women’s empowerment, Lara has built a brand that appeals to outdoor adventurers and foodies, alike. Bivouac’s handcrafted ciders feature exciting flavors and taste just as great at the top of a mountain as they do with a fine meal.
