Chef James Montejano is a San Diego native with over 20+ years experience in the Culinary field. He has made regular TV appearances on 10NEWS San Diego, FOX5 and NBC San Diego. He has worked alongside some of the most remarkable and influential chefs in the US. Chef Montejano has experience in all facets of culinary from resorts to restaurants. He spent some time in San Francisco where he attended California Culinary Academy and was a Sous-Chef at Micahel Mina “Aqua” Restaurant where he attained training under George Morrone and Michel Mina. While he spent time as the Executive Chef at Cafe Japengo, he became known for his delicate yet vibrant Asian fusion cuisine. He continues to use his deep love for food to bring his extraordinary menus to life. He is now Chef at L’Auberge Del Mar.
