Geoff Labitzke MW is the General Manager at Hamel Family Wines. He came to the winery in June with over 40 years of experience in all facets of the wine industry. In his career, Geoff has traveled to all the major wine regions of Europe and the southern hemisphere. Geoff has been a returning speaker at the Society of Wine Educators conference, SommCon and TexSom and has lectured at Sonoma State University. In 2006, he was one of two Americans to pass the rigorous Master of Wine examination. Currently there are only 57 Masters of Wine in the United States.
