After 17 years, Darius left the high-stress corporate environment as a military contractor and refocused his energy on establishing Koi Zen Cellars, an urban winery located in San Diego, California. This had been a long time dream where Darius wanted to follow his passion and not a paycheck. The motto at Koi Zen Cellars winery is “Uncork, Sip Back, Relax.” In addition to making the wines for Koi Zen Cellars, Darius is a public speaker, author, educator and produces a weekly blog “The Zen Breath 3-2-1” focused on wine education mixed with personal development and motivational themes.
