Casey Stringer was raised in the midwest by a family of food and wine lovers. While in high school his family was traveling in the Bay area to visit prospective colleges and due to unforeseen circumstance had several days open up in their busy travel schedule. They decided to head to the Napa Valley. It was in Napa where Casey fell in love with the wine-country lifestyle, vineyard filled landscapes and wine. Casey ended up going to photography school in Santa Barbara and working at wineries in the nearby Santa Ynez Valley. From there he moved north to work at wineries in Napa, then Oregon and eventually New Zealand to attend school for a formal education in winemaking. After meeting his wife and moving back to Wisconsin, he took a hiatus from the wine industry to work in management for his families manufacturing business. In 2015 wine called him back and Stringer Cellars was born.
