Celebrity Chef Graham Elliot to Kick Off San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival

Award winning chef, television personality and cookbook author, Graham Elliot is set to kick off the 15th Annual San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival! Join Graham at several featured events held during Southern California’s largest food and wine festival, including Pitmaster’s Veteran’s Day Barbecue on Sunday, November 11 at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa and the Festival’s Opening Night Party, Raised By Wolves Speakeasy on Monday, November 12.

 

The James Beard award-winner and Food & Wine’s “Best New Chef” helmed the eponymous restaurant, Graham Elliot, which went on to become one of only 15 restaurants in the U.S. to be awarded two Michelin Stars. Graham spent 10 seasons as a judge with the MasterChef and MasterChef Jr. franchise, before joining Bravo’s Emmy Award winning hit cooking competition, Top Chef as a full time judge. Graham is also the host and star of Bravo’s digital series, “Going Off the Menu.”

Self-proclaimed “Navy Brat” that has traveled the world and all 50 states, Graham joins the Festival’s celebration of San Diego’s veterans and military community to fire up the grill for a barbecue. The family-friendly barbecue held at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa is held on the scenic San Diego Bay and also features Chefs Michael Poompan and Aaron Obregon of the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa.

Additionally, Graham helps to kick off the 15thAnnual Festival at its Opening Night Party, held at San Diego’s newest speakeasy, Raised by Wolves. The speakeasy is accessed through a hidden fireplace entrance tucked just inside a cocktail and spirits apothecary, where master mixologists join forces for a night full of hand-crafted libations. Hungry? Stick around for the Shake Shack pop up slated for about midway through the opening night festivities.

The Pitmasters Veteran’s Day Barbecue Hosted by Graham Elliot is held on Sunday, November 11 from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $65 for adults and $35 for children. VIP access, which offers early entry,  meet and greet with Graham, specialty cocktail and charcuterie is priced at $125.

 

The Opening Night Party, Raised By Wolves Speakeasy is held on Monday, November 12 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $95 per person and include hand-crafted cocktails and Shake Shack. Tickets are available here.
