Bad Boyz of Culinary, a nonprofit partner of the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival, is a collaborative effort among chefs committed to showcasing African American culinary talent and fostering awareness through mentorship, events, scholarships, and programs. Conceived by founders Chef Quinnton Austin and Chef Kelston Moore, the initiative aims to unite chefs from diverse backgrounds within the culinary industry, offering support and guidance to one another. Their mission centers on combining various facets of the culinary realm to assist individuals in pursuing their aspirations, whether in restaurant management, executive chef roles, yacht catering, or food truck entrepreneurship.
