Valle’s Tres Amigos Chef Series Returns with a One-Night-Only Collaboration Dinner on January 30th

Valle, the MICHELIN-starred restaurant led by Chef Roberto Alcocer, is proud to announce the return of its celebrated Tres Amigos Chef Series on Tuesday, January 30, 2025. For its fourth edition, Valle will host an extraordinary one-night-only collaboration dinner featuring two of California’s most acclaimed chefs: Chef Tony Esnault of MICHELIN-starred Knife Pleat in Costa Mesa and Chef Chris Barnum-Dann of MICHELIN-starred Localis in Sacramento.

This exclusive dining experience will bring together three culinary powerhouses, each known for their unique approaches to modern cuisine. Guests will be treated to a thoughtfully crafted multi-course menu that showcases the chefs’ collective artistry and passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The Tres Amigos Chef Series has become a beloved tradition at Valle, celebrating the spirit of collaboration and the diverse culinary talents across California and beyond.

About the Featured Chefs:

  • Chef Tony Esnault is the executive chef and co-owner of Knife Pleat, a contemporary French restaurant in Costa Mesa that holds a MICHELIN star. With a background in classic French cuisine and experience working alongside legendary chefs such as Alain Ducasse, Chef Esnault is known for his refined technique and elegant dishes.
  • Chef Chris Barnum-Dann is the chef and owner of Localis in Sacramento, also awarded a MICHELIN star. Chef Barnum-Dann’s cuisine is rooted in seasonality and sustainability, with a focus on bold flavors and artistic presentation.
