Parq Restaurant is proud to welcome Marcus Twilegar as their new Executive Chef. Since 2008, Chef Twilegar has worked with highly acclaimed Executive Chef Jeff Jackson of the Lodge at Torrey Pines, also possessing six years of experience under Executive Chef Pete Balistreri of Tender Greens. Chef Twilegar and Chef de Cuisine Bradley Austin will work together to bring an exquisite farm to table experience to the Gaslamp. The philosophy of Chef Twilegar’s new menu focuses on outsourcing the best possible product from local farms, ranches and fisheries to ensure top quality and freshness of the finished product. Parq’s new menu items include: braised short rib with potato, smoked cheddar perogis with sour cream & cipollini onion and grilled pork tenderloin with yukon gold potato salad accompanied by sweet and sour red cabbage. Parq Restaurant opened in 2014, giving its customers the experience of dining in central park while in the heart of San Diego’s vibrant Gaslamp Quarter. The restaurant will be open for business on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to 11pm. Nightly happy hour occurs from 6-8pm, and the first Sunday of every month features the whimsical Wonderland Brunch. Connected to the restaurant is popular nightlife destination Parq Nightclub, a vegas-style nightclub boasting 20,000+ square feet of cutting edge sound and technology featuring world-class entertainment and DJs.
