Chef Brian Gist comes to us from Seattle, WA. After graduating from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco in 1993, he worked his way up in locations such as the Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls, La Costa Resort and Spa, Arnie’s Restaurant, The Harbor Club, and a variety of private yachts. He now resides in San Diego with his wife and daughter and has brought many “out of the box” ideas to Flagship Cruises and Events (formally San Diego Harbor Excursion) since October of 2000. After bringing our dinner cruise menu to an entirely new level and establishing and producing the mouth watering Sunday Brunch buffet, he played a key role in the development of the galley within our newest boat, the California Spirit.
