Baja Wine + Food
Born and raised in Mexico, Fernando Gaxiola holds an engineering degree by the prestigious Tec de Monterrey and a couple of master degrees, one as a Global Master in Business Administration by Thunderbird School of GlobalManagement in Phoenix, Arizona. A natural born entrepreneur, launches his first business management consulting firm in 2003 - Collaborative Consultants - at the age of 26. Soon after, he becomes a leading consultant for the Oil & Gas industry in areas such as processes, marketing and strategic planning.
In 2011, Mr. Gaxiola returns to his roots and reconnects with his passions: food, wine and art. After living in over 14 countries and running a successful business as a consultant, he settles in the Tijuana-San Diego mega where he launched Baja Wine + Food, a premier marketing agency focused on promoting the wine and food from Baja California in the United States. Founded in 2013 in San Diego, Baja Wine + Food represents and promotes boutique, family-owned and artisan wineries from Valle de Guadalupe in northern Baja California, from where 90% of the Mexican wine comes from. Additionally, the agency offers travel and concierge services to the Baja Wine Country, event planning and catering, Baja Vino Club and PR services to Mexican wineries.
