At age 22, Collin Cranor knew his passion for fermentation would lead him to a career in winemaking. He was working part time alongside a winemaker while maintaining his day job as a glazier. In 2009 Collin and his family started Nottingham Cellars and his dream to make world class wine was born. This was the first vintage of Collin’s career seeing the wine from vineyard to bottle. Three wines from this vintage scored 90+ points from some of the world’s top critics. His passion is finding amazing vineyards and crafting wines that best express that grow sites individuality, giving him an array of components for blending as well as a plethora of single vineyard offerings. Collin has become a leader in quality wine making initiatives in the Livermore Valley and continues to strive for improvement. At age 29 Collin has won multiple awards and been recognized as one of the region’s best winemakers but takes pride in knowing his best wines are still ahead.
