With over 20 years of culinary experience, Brian Christman brings his palate for quality ingredients and talent in delivering chef-driven cuisine and first-class guest experiences to his role as Executive Chef of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House San Diego.Serving most recently as the executive chef of the collection’s flagship restaurant location in New York, Christman harnesses fresh, top-tier ingredients for Del Frisco’s menu of USDA Prime Steaks, fresh seafood and creative takes on classic steakhouse fare.
Before moving to New York in 2014 to join the Del Frisco’s Double Eagle team, Christman honed his skills in upscale kitchens across the country. His background includes positions at Brett Favre’s Steakhouse in Green Bay, Mission Grille in Door County, Wisconsin, Mastro’s in both Orange County and the concept’s flagship in Beverly Hills as well as Smith & Wollensky in Chicago. Christman studied business administration and accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he discovered his passion for food while studying under his mentor, Chef Channing Boyer.
Now in 2018, Christman continues to elevate the rich tradition of the classic American steakhouse as Executive Chef of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House in San Diego. Fueled by his philosophy to consistently exceed expectations on a guest-by-guest basis, he leads the Southern Californian kitchen in fostering an environment of strong teamwork, inspiration and culinary excellence.
