Christophe Hedges is son to Tom and Anne-Marie Hedges, the founders of Hedges Family Estate, and brother to HFE winemaker, Sarah Hedges Goedhart. Christophe oversees and lives on the Red Mountain AVA estate with his wife Maggie and their two sons.  In 2001, he graduated from the University of San Diego with a Business Degree and minor in Theatre Arts.  Always wine-minded, Christophe started as a wine steward for Costco and worked as a wine buyer at La Tavola Kitchen while attending college.  After stepping away for a year as a professional bull rider, Christophe went back to work on the estate, first as a lab tech, assistant winemaker, then overseeing special projects, marketing & retail, and currently is the GM and Director of Sales and Marketing.  He and Maggie also farm a 5-acre parcel in front of their home on Red Mountain, Magdalena Vineyard.
