Chef and Host Alex Thomopoulos’ passion for food and laughter is infectious. Her spontaneous, quirky and honest personality is something that makes her a unique talent both in her writing and on camera.
She is an accomplished chef and culinarian, a stand up comedian and experienced on camera host. Her honest personality and passion for food and people shine through in everything she does.
Her unique, flavor packed cooking style has led to growing success for her and her business. As a humanitarian, she is passionate about the environment, health, hunger initiatives and sustainability. Her goal is to have a positive impact and bring joy to those around her one meal at a time.
In 2017 she took the role of Head Chef at the new Venice beach café/restaurant Great White designing a balanced menu filled with indulgent cravings and healthy fare. Served up with no ego attached, and bright straight forwards flavors, her cooking style stands out amongst the heavy competition.

- Alex graduated from The Second City Hollywood as well as studied at The Groundlings, and Upright Citizen Brigade.
- In addition to hosting her own cooking shows “Bites and Booze; Gluten Free” and “Gluten Free with Alex T” on YouTube’s HUNGRY channel, she was a series regular on MTV’s Disaster Date, and recently joined forces with Graham Elliot on Bravo’s “Going off the Menu.”
