California-born Chef Danielle knew from a young age that she wanted to be a chef. She was raised in an environment emphasizing the rich variety of Mexican food. After working with some of the best California chefs, Chef Danielle moved to New York City, where she met her Italian husband. Together they moved back to California, and during Covid started a MexItalian cuisine pop up, called Amiga Amore, that now is a Brick & Mortar in Highland Park. She was recently nominated as a Semifinalist for James Beard Emerging Chef 2024.
