Chef Chris Hutchison is currently the Executive Chef at Huntress. Chef Chris joined the RMD Group family in August 2021 as Chef de Cuisine at Huntress. With his great attitude, focus, and dedication he proved beyond expectations that he was ready for the next steps in leadership. Before moving to San Diego, Chris had experience as a Sous Chef at 23Hoyt, a top Spanish Tapas restaurant in Portland, OR, and Blue Hour, a restaurant that Gourmet Magazine described it as “the most sophisticated contemporary food in town.” Before making his move to Huntress, Chris was the Executive Chef at The Lions Share which garnered accolades from Food & Wine, Eater San Diego, and Food Network. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, spending time with his family, which includes his dog Koji- and surfing!
