Born and raised in San Diego, Nicole owned her first business at the age of 22, and after successfully operating for 13 years, she decided to change career paths and pursue her passion for cake decorating. In 2019, she graduated from a Culinary Arts Academy and decided she wanted to teach Entry-Level Cake Decorating however, due to COVID, this was temporarily put on hold. In 2022, she graduated from UCSD Extension in Digital Marketing and started to create her business plan for teaching entry-level cake decorating. In 2023, after over 25 years of professional cake decorating experience, she decided to open “Cake and Sip San Diego”. Nicole wanted to create an all-inclusive experience like no other where her guests could come and enjoy the edible side of art and learn to create and decorate their very own piece of edible artwork.
