Baja Brewing Company
Jordan C. Gardenhire was born on November 10, 1978 in Colorado; he studied International Business in the University of Boulder, Colorado.
He started as a home brewer in college, experimenting with his own recipes at his apartment as a hobby. Later on, he successfully completed an intensive Brewing Science and Engineering Program and became a member of the American Brewers Guild in 2006. Jordan’s business expertise comes from the successful management of a franchise in Boulder many years ago. He founded Baja Brewing Company with his father, Charlie Gardenhire, in 2007 and currently resides in Los Cabos, Mexico.
His company has grown significantly, and as of today, the Baja Brewing Company owns and runs three brewpubs and a brewery in Los Cabos area that produces eight different styles of craft beer; six of which are bottled and distributed all over Mexico. His flagship beer, Cabotella, is exported to the United States since late 2012.
Jordan is a well‐known entrepreneur in Baja California Sur, his brewery was the first of its kind in the state. He has become a pioneer in the craft beer industry in Mexico and continues to support beer culture across the country.
