President, Director of Marketing
Chateau des Charmes

Paul Bosc Jr. and his wife Michèle represent the 6th generation of this pioneering winegrowing family who can trace their roots to the Alsace region of France. When Paul’s father, Paul Bosc Sr., arrived in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada in the mid- 1960’s he just knew the place was special. The glacial soils, warm days and cool nights and the lush countryside reminded him of Burgundy where he studied winemaking.

In 1978 Paul Sr. founded Château des Charmes with the idea that growing his own grapes was the best way to make fine wine. More than ever, the Bosc family believes in this Estate Winery model and make only sub-appellation designated wines with estate grown grapes from their own farms. They believe they are custodians of the land. From the beginning, their 250 acres of vineyards have been managed using sustainable practices.

With Paul Jr. at the helm as President and C.E.O and Michèle as Director of Marketing, innovation remains a cornerstone of the organization. From ground-breaking viticultural research to a commitment to making world-class wines at a fair price to the use of social media to connect directly with consumers, Château des Charmes continues to be a leader in the North American wine industry.
